An efficient electrochemical sensor based on CeVO<sub>4</sub>-CuWO<sub>4</sub> nanocomposite for methyldopa

Abstract A novel modified electrode based on cerium vanadate and copper tungstate (CeVO 4 -CuWO ) nanocomposite was prepared as a sensitive sensor for the methyldopa. The characterized by x-ray diffraction (XRD), energy dispersive spectroscope (EDX), Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy (FT-IR), scanning electron microscopy (SEM) methods. cyclic voltammetry (CV) differential pulse (DPV) techniques were applied evaluation of electrochemical performance sensor. enhanced active surface area, electro-catalytic activity, expedient conductivity provided CeVO led to peak current increment with well-resolved anodic methyldopa in presence potential interferences. nanocomposite-based successfully measured over wide concentration range 0.02–400 μ M low limit detection (LOD) 0.006 M. findings sensing human serum samples verified proper efficiency proposed
